Sending money from SA – 3 Easy Steps

      1.

Deposit money into our SA Account

Deposit your transfer amount into our bank account quoting your name as a reference. The transfer will be less our commission. Alternatively, you can add the commission on top of the deposit.

2.       Send us proof of payment & beneficiary details

For us to process your payment quicker, you will need to send us proof of payment by e-mail or fax. However, if your transaction has been logged onto online, we can easily pick up this online and make payment. You also need to send us details of your beneficiary in Zimbabwe and what town they will be collecting the disbursement. You are also required to pick a password which you will have to give to the beneficiary for them to collect money at the bank. No payment will be made without that valid password.

3.       Contact your beneficiary to collect money
Once we have received your confirmation and beneficiary details, we will process your transaction for an instant payment. Unless otherwise notified by a Crown Exchange dealer, you can advise your beneficiary to go to the nominated branch, with the password to collect the remittance.

Transfer Charges

Most of our clients prefer to send Rands to Zimbabwe, which are paid out in the same currency. For these parity transfers, we charge 10 (Ten) percent on the value of the transfer as a commission. Compare this to a bank average transfer commission of 12.5 percent. Where funds are to be received as US$, international cross-rates on the day of the transfer will be applicable.
