How long does it take to transfer my funds to Zimbabwe?
Once we have received your cleared funds into our accounts, we will make the payment immediately to the account you have nominated. Cash Transfers to Zimbabwe can be collected same day or next day. Transfers to FCA accounts in Zimbabwe are done using a payment system called RTGS. The transfers often take 48hrs to reflect in beneficiary account. Transfers to South Africa and other African countries can take up to 72hrs to appear in beneficiary’s account.
Are there any fees for the transfer?Unlike Western Union or Money Gram, Crown Exchange does not charge any fees for the transfer service from most countries. Where a transfer fee applies, you will be advised by your dealer. There are no hidden costs either. However, for customers in the USA, if you send money to us by CHAPS transfer, your bank may levy a charge for that service. Please check with your bank if a charge will apply. Transfers will be confirmed for the amount as received in our bank account.
How is it that we don’t charge a fee and still have such great rates?

What is the minimum amount that can be transferred on a deal?
The minimum amount is GBP50 or US$100 or ZAR100. For transactions above £1000, 00 please call our dealers for assistance.
I am sending funds from outside the UK, what do I do?
Crown Exchange completes transactions in many countries outside the UK. So if you are sending money from outside the UK, please call our customer services team on the local numbers from which you are calling. Alternatively, you can send us an e-mail with the details of your transfer and someone will get back to you
I am in the UK and receive rent in US$ for a house I am renting in Zimbabwe, can I use Crown Exchange to receive this money?
Yes you can, the relaxing of exchange control rules by the central bank in Zimbabwe now allows clients to repatriate their money from the country without seeking approval from the RBZ. All you need to do is deposit the US$ in our account in Zimbabwe and we transfer the equivalent to your bank account.
Can I transfer money from Harare to my mother who doesn’t have an FCA account and lives in Bulawayo?
